Origin Download Game To Another Drive
Origin Download Game To Another Drive Windows 7
Moving game files from one hard drive to another?
Go to Origin advanced settings and setup the folder for your games. Download and install the games you want to install under that folder. Repeat the process for all hard drives you want to use. It will not move the game you already installed on another drive. For some reason simply copying an already installed game into the new location without Origin starting the download first causes problems and it gets stuck in a bit of a loop. Avenger1324 Aaaahaha.
I had originally downloaded and installed BF1 to my larger hard drive instead of my SSD by mistake. I had made just enough room for BF1, since my ssd is only 120gb and also has my operating system. I was told to change the install file in Origin and move the game files to the new folder, click download and Origin would recognize the game was installed.
Here's the problem.. it wont even let me attempt the 'download' because I don't have enough room to install the game 'again'. Even though it's already installed, it won't allow me to get to the point where it quickly verifies the files and then launches the game because I don't have another 50 gigs free. I was hoping to squeeze in an hour or two after a long day at work and work early tomorrow... Looks like it won't work out. Is there anything I could have done short of re-downloading the entire game to my ssd?
