Tissot Serial Number Checker

Serial

May 07, 2016  All Tissot do not have serial numbers and it can be some differances regarding the inscriptions like 30 meter or 3 bar, etc. Really the serial number isnt really important, how ever a stamped warranty card with the model number is. I think the chance is extremely small to get a fake tissot buying from a AD, or even a gray market shop. Related Articles. Examine the movement with the loupe. The bridge, which is a smooth and flat piece of metal that covers a portion of the movement, should have 'Tissot' engraved on it. A serial number will be near the name, such as 2943525, dating the Tissot to 1953. Tissot dealers can match your serial number to its date.

The third number states whether the watch is a certified chronometer , this will be 0 if it is not an independently certified chronometer or 3 if it is a certified chronometer also a 4 and 6 has been used which again shows it is not a certified chronometer

The last 2 numbers show the model of the watch as an example the A17605 is a steel Breitling shark automatic non chronometer with eta 2824 movement
